#BookReview #SELFIE by Stuart James @StuartJames73

I am super excited to share my review with you today for Selfie by Stuart James. Which is out today

A girl’s selfie captures something sinister.
A weekend away which ends in tragedy.
A hotel that hides a terrifying secret.

Lucy Benson loves to play a game called selfie. All her friends play it. They send the best pictures to each other. While Lucy is sat in the back of her father’s Jeep, she holds the mobile phone to her face, pressing the click button.
As her father drives in the middle lane of the motorway, she captures the drivers of other cars. Only this time, she captures something terrifying.
Now, they’re running for their lives.

Stuart James is the author of the critically acclaimed psychological thriller,The House On Rectory Lane, which recently won The International Book Award in Horror Fiction.
His other Amazon bestsellers include:
Turn The Other Way.
Apartment Six.
Stranded.

My Thoughts

From the moment I saw this book I just had to read it. Not only is it written by one of my favourite authors but the fact that it is called SELFIE totally sold it me! Anyone that knows me knows I love a selfie……It’s all about making memories.

But not in this case……Imagine taking a selfie and capturing a horrifying moment in the background. Well this is exactly what happens to Lucy Benson. I love how Stuart takes something so innocent and turns it into a terrifying roller coaster journey. That will have you hooked from start to finish.

This book is creepy has hell, it is a fast paced, action packed, uncomfortable read. Having said that, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Stuart. He has got one hell of an imagation.

SELFIE ticked all the boxes for me. If your looking for a well written engaging story this is the book for you.

Massive thank you to the author for a copy. All thoughts are my own and not biased in anyway.
