When the gold-rimmed invitations arrive through the doors of best friends Simone, Hannah and Vicky they’re instantly taken aback. Their ex-friend Jodie is inviting them to a lavish Mediterranean villa to celebrate her birthday. They haven’t spoken in years since she betrayed them in the worst way. My Thoughts
Clare Seeber is back with another pulse racing psychological thriller. I jumped at the chance to read this when I first heard about being a big fan of the author. But I do have to say that I love the title and book cover. All three things sold it to me. I sure as hell wasn’t disappointed and read this in one sitting, I literally couldn’t tear myself away. It is utterly addictive.
In this book we follow a story told from different characters POV and flicks from the past to present. With short snappy chapters. Building a clever twisty story up, set in a Mediterranean villa. But who will make it out alive is the question?!
The Birthday Reunion gets you questioning all the characters and guessing until the end. It is a story filled full of suspense and mystery and I loved everything about it. I can’t recommend it enough.
