#YouNeedMe by Sharon Bairden @RedDogTweets @sbairden

I am super excited to share my review with you today for You Need Me by Sharon Bairden. Which is out now.

‘Your secret didn’t die with me.’

The mysterious note tucked inside the pages of a recently returned book leaves librarian, Morag McLaughlin, chilled to the bone. She knows it was meant for her.

Someone out there knows her darkest secrets and they could destroy everything.

Torn apart from her own family, she will stop at nothing to create a perfect new one.

Why are they all so ungrateful? She’s only looking after them…
Isn’t she?

My Thoughts

HOLY FREAKING HELL…..What a book!

I was gripped right from the very first page where we meet Morag the librarian, straight away I put on edge by her knowing something wasn’t right. But what the hell was it! Then we are quickly introduced to the other characters. With each one having there own chapters……I loved this. Each character has a story to tell and they are all linked with the whole library setting.

So straight away the author has got my attention. I mean being a vivid reader who doesn’t like the library?! The story grows darker and twisty has it alternates between the characters. Then it is woven together with an “I wasn’t expecting that ending!” I just couldn’t get enough of this book……..it is so, so addictive and utterly gripping. With plenty of OMG moments that made me gasp.

This is one seriously good read and will keep you guessing until the very end. It is full of brilliant characterisation, it wouldn’t be what it is without them. You can feel the emotion within them. You Need Me is story that focuses on manipulation and mental health. Poor Ronnie my heart totally went out to him. And Morag….OMG where do I start! read it for yourself and you will see what I mean.

You Need to read this book, You definitely wont be disappointed. I cannot recommend it enough giving it all the stars!
