I am super excited to share my review with you today for Looking For Lulu by debut author Carl Granger. Which is out now
You could be sitting next to him in a pub. You’d never notice him. But he would see you.
None of his victims had ever noticed him, sitting there, glancing occasionally at them. Even if they had, they would have seen no cause for alarm.
Bland. Uninteresting. A civil servant going home to his equally bland wife and children at the end of another working day.
Anonymous. Invisible. Faceless.
That’s what they had all thought. But they were all wrong.
Now only the ever-growing spinney of trees bears testimony that they had once existed.
Is hard-bitten ex-Military Police captain, Detective Inspector Oscar Smith up to the task of tracking him down?
And as you turn the pages to meet the killer, will you ever find sleep again?
OMFG this book….where do I begin! It is dark and disturbing and will most certainly make you squirm. Oh how I love a twisted gruesome read. It is hard to believe this book is the author’s debut novel. It is absolutely bloody brilliant.
There is so much I want to say about this book but without giving anything away.
So you’ve all heard of the killer Dennis Nelsen right? Well this story goes way deeper than that. It will chill you to the bone.
DI Inspector Oscar is brilliant and very realistic. I loved the author’s style of writing and not forgetting the dark humour. It is ram packed with OMG moments, twists and turns that will have you biting your nails off and moments where I forgot to breathe. And totally put you off your food! You definitely need a strong stomach for this read. If you haven’t please don’t say that I didn’t warn you.
It is a DARK DARK read…..I loved everything about it even though I was scared to turn the pages at times!
Looking for LuLu is a very gory and twisted read that will have you hooked from start to finish. Perfect for fans of Mark Tilbury, Rob Ashman and Wes Markin.
I would like to thank Granger-Schmidt Publishing for a copy all thoughts are my own and not biased in anyway
