#PublicationDay #Review Christmas with the Conduit by Wes Markin @MarkinWes

I am super excited to share my review you today for Christmas With The Conduit by Wes Markin. Which is out today

If you fail to stop a killer, then they will only grow stronger.

DCI Michael Yorke and Emma Gardner are still plagued by guilt over their failure to catch the murderous psychiatrist known as the Conduit, and the loss of their former colleague to insanity.

On Christmas Day, following a brutal massacre in Leeds, Yorke and Gardner find themselves once again chasing the ruthless puppeteer, believing that they have the initiative.

But as the two investigators draw closer to the Conduit, they quickly discover that they were never truly in control, and completely vulnerable to what comes next.

A rising tide of psychological warfare.

And the horrendous truth behind the fate of their former colleague.

My Thoughts

Christmas With The Conduit is the 6th book in the DCI Yorke series and this is my 6th review. I do struggle to write reviews for a series, trying to find new things to say without repeating myself. I honestly don’t know how Wes does it and each time he brings us something new and totally different with every book he writes.

This latest installment story starts off with a killing spree on Christmas Day! Hell yes now this is what I call a Christmas book. Now I am starting to sound has twisted has the author! Who totally lives up to his name #SICKOAUTHOR and never fails to disappoint. Each book just gets better and better.

With an OMG start Wes soon has my attention. The more I read the more I was thinking OMG this story is freaking mental. Wes takes his sicko author status to a new level this book. It will certainly chew you up in and spit you out. Talk about keeping me on the edge of my seat.

This book is full of characters old and new. I absolutely love Yorke and I have loved watching his character grow throughout the series. Not forgetting The Conduit who is a very unique character and makes this book what it is.

There is never a dull moment with plenty going on. It is dark, twisty and very disturbing. Although I wouldn’t expect anything else from Wes. But this book is my absolute favourite in the series. The whole of this series would make awesome movies.

It can be read has a standalone but this series is to good not to miss. I am looking forward to what is in store for us next with a brand new series. Although I do hope there will still be more of Yorke

Massive thank you to Wes for an advanced copy of this engrossing read.
