I am super excited to share my review with you today for Kirsty Greenwood’s latest novel…. He will Be Mine. Which is out now.
The brand new standalone romantic comedy from the bestselling author of Big Sexy Love
Nora Tucker is an admin assistant from Sheffield.
Gary Montgomery is Hollywood’s hottest new star.
After seeing him on the silver screen, Nora believes that Gary is her soulmate, her one true love, the man she’s supposed to grow old and wrinkly with. She knows it sounds nuts, she knows it’s completely crazy. But sometimes love is crazy, right?
Only… how on earth is this Plain Jane introvert supposed to get to Los Angeles, infiltrate Gary’s inner circle AND convince him that they’re meant to be? Throwing herself into this mission might be a tall order but it means Nora can stop thinking about that one awful day, two years ago, when everything in her life fell apart…
With the help of a sunny Californian weather girl, a super hot but super grumpy script writer, and a very passionate Adam Levine tribute act, Nora is about to try the impossible and let fate decide her future…
I am a massive fan of Kirsty Greenwood, having read all of her books she certainly knows how to make you smile. He Will Be Mine is without a doubt my favourite. Wow just wow….What a story!
With everything that is going on in the world at the moment. I needed that pick me up and take me to another place kinda read. This is definitely that book.
We are transported to LA where we follow Nora in a delightful, feel good, laugh out loud story. Which takes you on a whirl wind of emotions. You can always rely on Kirsty to make you laugh. Nothing is ever easy for Nora with some hilarious scenes which made me laugh until I cried.
But not only that I found myself totally absorbed with the characters. Who jumped out of the pages, making me love everything about them.
Kirsty has an incredible talent for capturing the scene and making you feel right there in the story. This book would make an awesome movie staring Nicolas Cage…..OMG so bloody funny!
Not only did this story make me laugh but it also make me cry. You might need a tissue or two that’s for sure.
I read this story in one day it is truly brilliant and utterly addictive. There is nothing not to like. He will be mine is an upbeat, mesmerising read with some twists and turns along the way. I cannot recommend this book enough giving it all the stars.
