#ShadowSands by Robert Bryndza #BlogTour @RobertBryndza @SphereBooks @TheCrimeVault

I am thrilled to share my review with you today on Blog Tour for Shadow Sands by Robert Bryndza

When Kate Marshall finds the body of a young man floating in the Shadow Sands reservoir, the authorities label it a tragic accident.

But the details don’t add up: why was he there in the middle of the night? If he was such a strong swimmer, how did he drown? As Kate and her assistant Tristan Harper follow the evidence, they make a far darker discovery . . .

This is only the latest victim in a series of bloody murders dating back decades. A mythic serial killer is said to hide in the rolling fog, abducting his victims like a phantom. And when another woman is taken, Kate and Tristan have a matter of days to save her from meeting the same fate.

My Thoughts

Holy freaking Hell….What a book! It feels like ages since I have read a book by Robert all because I listened to Nine Elms on audio. Which I absolutely loved. Even though I enjoy audio it isn’t the same has escaping into a book. Oh boy is book, is an absolute corker…pure escapism.

So this is the second book in the series, the author is well know for his Detective Erika Foster. I am a massive fan. But there is something about Kate Marshall I like that little bit more.

Robert sets the scene with an OMG opening….. I was well and truly hooked when Kate and her son find a body in the Shadow Sands reservoir. Thats just for starters!

With short and snappy chapters, we then follow a nail biting page turner when Kate is asked to help find out the truth about the boys death. With a who- dun- it story.

Not only do we have a brilliant plot but has the story unfolds we get to learn more about Kate and her past. She is strong determined character with flaws from her past that has made her the way she is. I seriously can’t wait to see how things develop. I am so excited for the next book!

Shadow Sands is a excellent story with descriptions that make you feel right there in the story. I honestly cannot tell you how good this book is. I cannot recommend it enough and it without a doubt a five star read.

Massive congratulations Robert keep up the good work.
