The Grandpa Killer by Dan Petrosini #BlogTour Getting To Know The Character Interview @BOTBSPublicity

Dan Petrosini joins me today to take part in my Getting to Know the Character Interview

Two eighty-year old victims…

…had roofies in their system.

Why would someone give the victims a date-rape drug?

Luca has heard the rumors and now there’s an official complaint. A high-end assisted-living community’s ownership has been accused of abuse. It seems like a straightforward matter to investigate, but is there something more sinister going on?

Is this about euthanasia or greed?

Luca thinks there may be a third option.

With a plate full of burglary investigations, one of which, led to the victims being pistol-whipped, Luca is swamped. Will he be able to unravel the clues and get to the truth?

His gut says there’s a connection…

…but who is behind it?

Is it only about a payday?

You’ll love this next installment in the Luca Mystery series, because of hard-nosed, relentless, detective work and his mind for unraveling the lies and deception.

Get it now.

Can you describe your character?

Det. Frank Luca – He starts out as a no nonsense type of guy. To him, it’s all black and white. But life starts ‘getting in the way’ and he begins to question his reactions and beliefs. Its all very real.

What is their job role and where do they work?

Homicide Detective –

Started out in Middletown, NJ USA but quickly moved to Naples Florida, where 10 of the books are set.Where did the original  idea of them come about? I was writing a story – Am I the Killer? about a suspect with memory issues who is accused of murder. Mid-way, I needed a detective and created Luca. He hijacked the book and readers have loved him.

What makes them original?

His outlook and instincts (they’re not always the best!)What makes them tick? He’s obsessed with tracking down killers.

What is their biggest fear?

Putting the wrong person behind bars.If you and your character met in real life, do you think you’d get on? I would hope so but he’s not the most social animal.Who would you like to see play them

If your books were made into a film or TV show?

Easy one – He looks like George Clooney, so either him of Bradley Cooper.

How many books do you have in the series so far?

What’s in store for them next?

Book 11, has Luca questioning if its time to leave the force and go PI.
