I am super excited to share my review with you on the last day of blog tour for Rise Of The Rays by Wes Markin
They say that lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice. How the people of Wiltshire wished that were true.
When Paul Ray decides to burn down his evil family’s legacy, he falls into the clutches of those he thought gone.
And now Detective Yorke and his team face a race against time to find Paul before Wiltshire again falls under the dark spell of a ruthless family.
Unfortunately for Yorke, the answers lie in the most sinister of places. The beating heart of a long-dead killer.
Can Yorke find the truth before it’s too late? Or will the curse of the Ray family prove too strong?
Sicko Author Wes Markin is back with another dark and gory crime thriller and a very twisty plot in book four of the series.
Just when I thought this series couldn’t get any darker. The author pulls all the horror out of the bag. Not only does he bring the Rays back, but we follow a plot which explores cannibalism. Wes Markin has got one hell of a vivid imagation that’s for sure.
This book is NOT for the faint hearted. But it is perfect for fans of dark crime. We follow a story that that takes you on a rollercoaster ride that will keep you guessing until the very end then BOOM the authors throws in a very clever twist that I wasn’t expecting.
Although this story takes us back to past giving the reader an understanding of the Ray’s history. You need to read the books in order to get the background information of the characters. I love Yorke and with each book I am left hanging with the developments in his personal life. Now I left waiting for book five!
Each book in the series gets better and better and I cannot wait to see. What Wes comes up with next with that dark and evil mind of his.
Rise of the Rays is a gripping story full of OMG moments which I cannot recommend enough.
Thank you to Caroline and Wes for the blog tour invite.
