MINE by Casey Kelleher #BookReview @CaseyKelleher

Rebecca Dawson lives a life that many women want – married to wealthy, handsome businessman Jamie and new mum to beautiful daughter, Ella, she thinks nothing can burst her bubble. Until a series of sinister events leaves Rebecca convinced that she is being stalked. While her only priority is keeping Ella safe, Rebecca knows that this might be more than coincidence, and fears that her past is back to haunt her. Because somebody knows what she did. They are watching her, tormenting her and soon they are going to make her pay.

While she hides her past, Rebecca finds herself unable to trust anyone, not even her husband, Jamie. Because Jamie is keeping secrets too. Is Jamie gas-lighting Rebecca into thinking she is going mad, in a bid to cover up his own sordid lies? Or is someone more sinister seeking their revenge?

My Thoughts

OMFG this book is totally jaw dropping, I freaking loved it!

Grit lit author Casey Kelleher, who I am a massive fan of turns her hand at writing a psychological thriller. I love it when an author swaps genre it shows that they can write anything. MINE is certainly the proof in this case. I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly amazing this book is.

In this story we meet Rebecca and follow her on a rollercoaster journey when she is convinced she is being stalked. I got so wrapped up in the story I couldn’t put it down. You cannot help put feel the emotion and anxiety Rebecca goes through. I couldn’t read this fast enough, trying to work out what the hell is going on.

This book is sure to have you guessing until the end. The tension, the twists and turns and that ending! What a mind blowing read it threw me sideways. Do I need to say anymore?!

This book speaks for itself and is without a doubt a must read. I cannot recommend it enough. I really hope that Casey writes books like this in the future.
