I am delighted to share not one but two extracts for The Hitman Sam with you today on blog tour, but before I do that lets check the blurb out…..
The Book
Having been made redundant as a photocopier software designer, Sam Simpson is lured by a cryptic advert. As he learns it is for a trainee hitman, will he be tough enough to see the job through? Even James Bond had to start somewhere and Sam, as his alias Josh Bradley, looks forward to enjoying James’ lifestyle, although soon embroiled in a love triangle, Sam hadn’t expected things to get so complicated so quickly.

Extract one
With food eaten and plate licked (another disgusting habit in Emma’s opinion), Paul jumped down from the table and ran into the lounge. Seconds later, the TV blared out what sounded like a western and the gunfire made Emma jump. There was something about guns that gave her the creeps. Whenever a car backfired, she’d feel her heart try to escape her chest. Gun crime was something that often appeared in the paper and had thankfully pretty much escaped Northamptonshire but Emma felt it was only a matter of time. But she switched her mind to her purchases at the charity shops and the crime was forgotten… at least for a week or two.
Extract Two
You may have expected to receive a real gun but do you seriously think we would have sent one in the post? You shall receive your equipment after your professional training. You can however practice on the equipment enclosed with this booklet. You may wear the balaclava with your black attire if this assists with the role-play but it must be carried out either in the comfort of your own home or in an area of your choice with complete confidentiality. Practice makes perfect and as you can appreciate, there is no room for error in this profession. Errors lead to capture or extermination by operatives on either side.
“Extermination by operatives on either side? You mean my guys can kill me too? Holy sh–, this is serious stuff.”
Sam’s stomach rumbled so loudly that the chair went flying again. “What am I doing? I can’t do this life or death stuff. It’s ridiculous.”
Sounds good doesn’t it?! I hope you enjoyed it. You can grab your copy from amazon on the link below for only 99p
